I went to see Alyssa again today. Turns out the tumor's malignant. (For those who don't understand such highly technical terms, that means it's cancerous.) This isn't good. In part, because within the span of not even a year, two people at my school, in my class, who've been going to my school since it started when they were in 1st grade, have gotten cancer. One with lymphoma and my friend with brain cancer. It sounds like she's probably gonna have to go through chemo and/or radiation of sorts. Possibly also surgery to remove it. x.x I'm thinking that the whole cancer thing isn't just a coincidence. I'm not sure what God could be trying to say, but it's not a coincidence. So, yeah, prayers are still very much needed.

I was just over at a friend's house (her name's also Alyssa). She was sobbing and swearing, I was shaking and swearing. (I mean, I was REALLY swearing. Not something I do often at all...) I'm more mad than anything else. I'll probably be sobbing myself tomorrow...

Thanks. But, still, I want to know why this is happening and why to her. I mean, if it were just about any other person, in some other place... 'Cause this could potentially ruin her short term memory for the rest of her life, and I don't want her living life like that.

My aunti has higly developed Skelleton cancer in her spine currently. And she has already had breast cancer and gone through the chem treatment once before, and is now doing it again.

So to back you up with some info, about your friend.

If she takes the chems, she will feel terrible after she have taken them. Throw up and such. So they usually prefer if you call them instead of visiting. (but that can differ between persons).
A wig can be obtainable from any auction site cheaper then a store. She will have days when she won't know how long she has left so you will have to comfort here there.

Well that's some small tidbits for you, i hope she get's better ^^

I don't know why this is happening to her. I have no answer to that. All I can say is that you be there for her cause she'll need your support and friendship to help her see this through.

Yeah, I know after chemo/radiation treatment she'll be feeling awful. Knowing Lyss, though, she wouldn't mind company. Thanks for the tidbits, though. *was just about sobbing in the waiting room, waiting for her to wake up, Lyss' dad was just about to cry also* And, I've never seen your grammar so bad before. <<;;

Thanks, and seeing as she's my best friend and I'd be devastated if she were to die and all. (Though if she did die, I know I'll see her again, sans pain and suffering.)
